Wales connected to UK-wide tobacco control action.
The Smokefree Action Coalition (SFAC) is a UK-wide coalition of more than 300 organisations committed to ending the harm caused by tobacco.
ASH coordinates the coalition, and ASH Wales is one of the sister organisations represented within it.
What is SFAC for?
SFAC brings together charities, professional bodies, NHS organisations, councils, academics and others working to reduce tobacco harm.
The coalition supports shared action, policy advocacy and collaboration on tobacco control issues that cross organisational and national boundaries.
ASH Wales’s role
ASH Wales contributes a Welsh perspective to UK-wide tobacco control work and shares learning between Wales and partners elsewhere in the UK.
A shared ambition
SFAC’s current ambition is a UK where no one is harmed by tobacco, children grow up free from tobacco addiction and support to quit is available in every community.
