We’re looking for a talented Policy and Media Officer to help shape the future of tobacco control in Wales. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference at a time when landmark legislation is set to create a Smokefree generation.
As our Policy and Media Officer, you will:
Be the voice of ASH Wales, engaging with decision makers, journalists, and communities across Wales.
Lead on high-profile media campaigns that raise awareness of the health, social and economic harms caused by smoking.
Support evidence-based policy work that influences real change for public health.
You’ll join a small but ambitious team where your ideas, energy and expertise can have a big impact.
Lead the conversation: Engage with politicians, journalists, health leaders, and communities across Wales.
Drive change: Produce policy briefings, respond to consultations, and influence decisions with evidence-based insights.
Shine a spotlight on tobacco harm: Create media campaigns and digital content that get people talking — and acting.
This role blends policy expertise with media skills, giving you the platform to make a real difference.
Salary: £30,000 per year
