Your local pharmacy can be one of the easiest places to get support to stop smoking.
You don’t need an appointment, and you can pop in at a time that suits you. Many pharmacies across Wales offer free stop smoking support, including advice and access to nicotine replacement products.
What support can you get?
Pharmacies offer different types of support depending on your needs:
Support alongside Help Me Quit
If you’re already getting support from Help Me Quit, your pharmacy can provide nicotine replacement therapy (NRT), such as patches, gum, or lozenges, to help manage cravings.
One to one support
Some pharmacies offer one to one stop smoking support, where you’ll meet regularly with a trained advisor. They can help you set a quit date, manage cravings, and stay on track, as well as provide NRT.
